requirements to presidents
I believe, requirements to presidents are very contradictory. How can they coexist?

1. Could you explain your question more?

2. Please clarify your question
Also, are you writing a report or something? You would be better off in any case if you were to put all your queries to the board in one post.

3. in fact, yes
The thing is, I am really doing research in linguistics, and I would be grateful if you could help. My topic is the concept of PRESIDENT in american linguo-culture, and as I live in Russia, it is the only way for me to get information from americans.
So, I need to conduct a sort of survey, and the questions are the following:
1)associations with the word PRESIDENT
2)the name of what president comes to mind when you hear the word PRESIDENT
3)Image of the IDEAL PRESIDENT
4)What president and why was most closer to that image of the IDEAL PRESIDENT

Speaking about my previous question, I meant that people's expectations from their presidents are rather contradictory. On the one hand, they want him to be a strong leader, having the power to solve the nation's problems, but on the other hand, they are afraid of abuse of power, etc.

Thank you in advance
