Was just thoroughly surveyed by telephone.
I must have been on the phone for approx. 30 minutes. I have no idea who commissioned the survey since it was conducted by Sun Surveys, but I had the opportunity to absolutely blast the Republican party and Shrub's leadership in particular. Boy did that feel good!

They even asked a great question on how I would prefer the Democratic party act in Congress. (i.e. bi-partisan or in opposition) If anyone knows anything about this survey I would love to know who wants the information. The way I feel today I wouldn't put it past it being an FBI sting to find out who is vehemently opposed to neocon policies. In which case I'll probably need childcare help when I'm hauled in for interrogation. I was not in the mood to be diplomatic.

6. They have the appearance of a lightweight outfit
A google search finds their homepage but not the page with the blurb on their founder (one click away from the homepage). The link to "People" from their homepage has only one entry, the founder Wade Perry. The blurb says that when he was at a previous place, "he WAS NOW READY TO run his own call center" and started Sun Surveys. The ALL CAPS are theirs, not mine. To me, that just screams, "Ain't I just the coolest, hottest thing in town?"

8. Why does the name Wade Perry sound very RW to me?
It is tickling my mind. I read a lot and cannot recall just where I have seen this name?

9. If you have time on your hands...
google finds only 874 matches on "Wade Perry". Nothing on the first couple screenfuls looked interesting.

I tried adding a couple buzzwords like abortion and gun to the search and didn't find anything interesting. Maybe you can think of something else to try.

I noticed something else about Sun Surveys's web page though. Where it says he was now ready to run his own thing, it calls it a "call center," not a survey center or survey firm or polling outfit. I don't think a real polling/survey place would call themselves a "call center." Sounds to me like it's likely a push poll or dirty tricks place or maybe even primarily a telemarketing place.
