Memorial Day - DU Veterans Thank You And Check In Thread! Please Kick!

As most of probably are, I am thinking of those serving and those that have served this weekend...

In that spirit. I wanted to offer up a space where we could all say thank you to these men and women living and lost. Many face daily danger in far away places.

Many of those now serving overseas have families here that love and miss them. Don't forget the military families! We want offer them our thanks for their service to us all!

Won't you please help me fill this thread by Monday!!!

Veterans, current service members and families check in and let the DU community give you the thanks you deserve!!!

Let us all hope that peace returns soon.

Too often we forget the sacrifice that our men and women in uniform make for us back here on the home front. I believe supporting the troops is a bipartisan issue.

Democrat Underground welfare monkeys are looking into this thread. Guess they should have waited for more vets to check in before acting all high and mighty.
Their thread is over 600 replies. I helped by posting a thank you to all their vets and active service. Service is what counts on Memorial Weekend, not politics.

To the men and women who are on the front lines and those in the shadows who are never known. Thank you for being the voice of reason when more often then not our media wont cover what your family and you yourself have gone through in this war. Know that when you come home.....there will be open arms with many. Open arms of different political views, different backgrounds, and different belief. The one defining thread for many of us however is that we want you to return home safely.
