I just saw a Wal-Mart commercial on PBS
It was portraying Wal-Mart as a great company to work for. PBS keeps sickening me more all the time.

1. EWWWW... that's disgusting

I saw a "Join the Army" ad on TV Land, which really ticked me off.
(Usually I can zap the commercials so I don't have to watch. This
was not one of those times.)

It's sad that the neocon BS has infiltrated PBS...

2. They've been running them for a while now.
It saddens me, too.
But, I still watch and support my local PBS affiliate. They are very good and responsive the their audience.
Frontline rocks!

4. they R a spnsor of Tavis Smiley's show.
I usually tune in a minute or 2 late 2 miss the commercial. He must has received numerous complaints about malwart as his sponsor, cuz one night he started his show w/ a defense of malwart as his sponsor. It is the one aspect of his show I do not like. But then, I don't shop there anyway.

6. When did the ads start on PBS? I thought the whole point was not
to be beholden to corporations? To have a T.V. network devoted to humanity and not at the mercy of commercialism?
