Scottie says "you'd have to ask the special prosecutor..." OK, lets
ask him if
Did you tell the WH not to comment while you investigated?
If the WH answers these questions, would it hurt your investigation?
And Scottie, now that you've requoted Shrub directing everyone in the WH to co-operated in the investigation, will he at least be firing Rove for failure to follow orders?
2. Absent a gag order, and not discussing anything about the actual
GJ case or testimony - why can't he answer if he's asked the WH not to discuss this?
We've got a practical confession that someone with security clearance broke that, and the WH saying they aren't going to do anything until the end of the investigation "at the request of the Special Prosecutor".
he is involved in a grand jury investigation. There is no need for a "gag order." A grand jury investigation is, by definition, secret. There is no way that Fitzgerald can answer questions .... although those are indeed interesting and valid ones you ask.
