The only way that Bush would fire Karl Rove...
It's a fantasy world to think Bush will fire Rove or ask him to resign over this Plame affair. The only way Bush will let Rove go is if it threatens him personally. If it comes down to Bush or Rove, then Rove must go. Otherwise, he will be there to congratulate Bush on every dirty deed. Put the heat on Bush if you want Rove to go.

1. At some point Rove may resign
He doesn't need to be there really, he can just phone in *'s marching orders.

9. Truly. At this point, most of his job has been completed.
Two * terms, mass deception, and a boatload of things we'll be discovering for years to come. The damage is done, and Rovey can run off and play the "political victim" while he plays family and quietly serves as evil consultant to the administration's strategic planning wing.

2. The only time Bush would fire Rove is if Rove told him to do it.
Bush can't make a decision on his own.

4. It already is threatening his character and honestly
they lied about Rove, and Bush said if anyone was involved, he would fire them. Well Rove is involved, I don't see the Prez doing much of anything. They all look like the liars they are....

5. Rove aka Bush's Brain
Rove=Bush's Brain....repeat the mantra everytime you talk about Rove.

Rove, who's been called Bush's Brain....
Rove a.k.a. Bush's Brain....
Rove, Bush's Brain,.....

Tie them up together like the unholy alliance they truly are.

6. Keep you nose out there
I smell a "familty situation" coming for Karl Rove. Although, I'm still holding out for the possibility of John Bolton having his hand in it somehow.

BTW, I haven't heard much about Bolton (but I've been gone for about a week off to Florida and the hurricane was top story). I'm still trying to catch up on the Bolton nomination.

7. I would love to. But how without Media Support?
I sure hope another photocopied document does not pop up to dispell the whole affair.

TANG AWOL story is true.
The wrong evidence was cited in the media

Therefore:
The TANG story must be false.

It was a brilliant piece of propaganda work.

10. Rove's damage is done. I want him out, but even if he leaves today
he's stolen two elections for the team. Rove is undeniably valuable to them moving forward, but the heavy lifting is done.

11. Oh, you're absolutely right!
I recall my boss telling me once that he would always stick up for me and protect my job...unless it came down to either him or me. Then I wouldn't have a choice, it would have to be me!

I think that's a standard human reaction.

12. Even if Bush does fire Rove or if Rove resigns, it won't matter
he will still be there, pulling strings behind the scenes.

He will always "advise".

13. Here's the upcoming scenario...
1) Rove resigns, giving "Family" reasons.
2) If it starts looking like he's going to jail, Bush will pardon him, stating "Partisan Witchhunt" (and who knows more about Partisan Witchhunts than the GOP).
3) Rove goes to work for a GOP consultation firm. He's stays in with Bush as "Personal Friend" (read: "power behind the throne").
4) Rove is ready for 2006 and 2008 as a "Political Consultant" for GOP candidates (read: Dirty Tricks Guy)
