Does anyone recommend the Working Assets credit card?
On the surface, it sounds like a good idea.

Ten cents a purchase goes to fund organize things like the UCLA. But that's all, it seems.

But it's through the MBNA America bank and weren't they the ones behind the recent bankrupty legislation?

Are there other credit card companies that do the same thing?

Thanks.

I posted this on the politics group also.

Shredding my credit cards was one of the best things I've ever done in my life. Seriously.

2. I recommend it
I used it for years. But unfortunately the lure of airline miles took over.

Now I try to donate more money to causes on my own, while taking advantage of sky miles.

working assets is a great co. i also recommend their long distance service....

4. No
It is an MBNA card - now they are bought out by someone - but when I had it, they were very aggressive about switching the rate when I wasn't looking. When I called them to question it, they said it was an accident. Several times, it was an accident.
