1. I Think Fitzgerald is Serious
and apparently so are the judges involved. That's not a very strong defense.

I just hope Fitzgerald pursues the angle that the leak compromised not only Plame, but all the current and former employees of a front company that dealt with WMD threats.

8. I'd Want To Know How He Got Security Clearance. . .
. . .if he didn't know the difference. This doesn't clear things up for the White House. It calls into further question, their judgment on matters of national security.

2. The Senior Journalistologist on TDS announced Rove is likely to
get nominated for the Supreme Court. After all, Tenet got the Medal of Freedom and Condi got the Secretary of State position after their monumenstrual screw ups.

I agree he will walk.

4. Considering the amount of secrecy this administration has exhibited....

.... Rove's "slip" or "misunderstanding" wasn't an accident. People like this don't let anything out unless they want it out.

6. Karl Rove thought McCain had a "black baby" and Kerry made up his wounds
Face it, that poor Karl Rove is just too dim to work for Bush.

10. he's too dim for dimson? Rove has proved his worth many times over
I hope I'm wrong about him getting away with outing Plame, I just wish they could tie him to any deaths or arrests related to the exposure of Plame's front company and foreign operatives.

7. No Way---- Rove is Going Down
Don't forget the Chris Matthews statement that Joe Wilson's wife was fair game. He went after her with a vengeance. If he knew she was CIA, he knew what she did for the CIA...

Rove is a smart guy, but not smart enough, he said too many things to too many people and it is all coming back to haunt him now.

He has testified 3 times before the Grand Jury, does that not tell you something?

9. I hope he gets nailed, but I suspect you are correct.
This investigation could end this administration if its relationship to the bogus Iraq war justifications is made clear.

Deliberately misleading Congress, the American people, and publicly revealing a CIA operatives identity for the purpose of waging a war of aggression to secure private fortunes should be an impeachable offense.

Hell, it should be a criminal offense. Larceny by conversion. Taxpayer $$ filtered through the military VIA a war to produce oil profits for family interests and business associates.
