Will the Corp Media turn on the Bush Regime?
It seems that they might stop being complicit with this Regime if indictments are handed out by the GJ. Your thoughts on this?

1. Will the media turn on Bush?
Unlikely.

He'll lose the petulance and put on his little smilie face for a while. They'll forget what he's like, partly because no one likes to think that the person running the country is a total jerk and partly because their editors will "gently remind" them of who writes the checks and that the same conditions for employment remain in place.

2. no.
they, like bushco, are the new ruling class.

in the case of bushco, they will not eat their own.

they may give some salacious sounding news bites about anything heavy that comes down -- but behind the scenes they are family.

3. I'll believe it when they turn on him for eight years.
That's the minimum time it's going to take them to prove that they can be just as nasty to bu$hler as they were to Clinton.

I'll need eight years of innuendo, sly smirks, raised eyebrows everytime bu$h's name is mentioned, Senators looking somberly into the camera and telling me about a Grave Constitutional Crisis, Sunday morning talk shows full of experts worried about the future of the country if these trends continue and live reports from the Office of Independent Counsel before I can admit to the possibility that the Corporate Media MAY be about to turn on bu$h.

As long as five old white men effectively control everything Murkins see, hear and/or read--and as long as these guys are pro-bu$h--I don't see the Media Borg getting any sort of clue, or revealing that it might have one.

And there is every possibility that Rovegate is only another distraction from something bigger and nastier.

4. If brush starts putting a few more reporters in jail then
maybe they will turn on him. But for now they seem willing to go along with most of his lies.

5. The picture in your post...
...should answer the question for you.

The corporate media is fueled by automobile advertising. They are not going to bite the hand that feeds them. They may take a nibble or two to make us THINK they are "doing their job" but in reality their job is to maximize profits for their shareholders.

8. In Case You Haven't Noticed They Are Turning Now
How do you think DSM or Traitorgate are finding name on the airways and ink on paper?
