Ex-CIA official comments aside. the issue with the outing of {la,e is not inside-the Beltway politics. It's not even about Rove and Libby and what they knew and when they knew and what they did with the information.

(WHile they probably did the outing... I am not thoroughly convinced it was with malice)

What PlameGate is really about...or what it really should be about.....is the Neocon mantra: The Ends justify the means.

Its about war rationale and a continuous effort to use bogus reasons to justify policy. It's about the arrogance of power to the degree that you would concoct evidence, put operatives at risks, put our servicemen and women in harms way, blow the budget surplus and lie to grand juries in order to settle old scores.


A recess appointment of John Bolton puts this arrogance right into the oval office and not with the minions.

The focus of the Democratic message needs to finely tuned and amplified on this point.

We need to have a national debate and the acceptable use of power.

For God's sake can we please focus!!!

ALl I said was that I am not convinced this was payback.... what I am convinced of is that Rove and LIbby are going down dor lying to a Grand Jury. I am also pretty convinced that Cheny told them both about Plame having a covert status.

Unless the VP COS and a guy who wa a political operative have code-word clearance. Chen committed a felony when he divulged the contents of Top Sevret document.. That is a crime as well.
