Bush: Newest member of Mt. Rushmore?
Bush is capable of almost anything, I can even see him giving an executive order to place his head on the side of Mt. Rushmore!! If there isn't room, I imagine Bush will order Lincoln's head destroyed and his image put in its place.

1. I'd rather see him UNDER Mt. Rushmore
To steal a line from Bill Hicks about Raygun.

4. MT RUSHMORE NOT STABLE - NO NEW FACES CAN BE ADDED
This was pushed by conservatives for Reagan, and almost instantly dropped because the geology just says no.

Also, when they originally carved the faces, they intended to put a text description on the far right, of American history up to that point. It was found that any further carving to the right of the faces would cause the entire mountain to collapse.

Although, I suppose that the addition of Reagan or Bush being the cause of the destruction of America's homage to its leaders would be ironic.....

13. Cheap drugs
All of that drug use in the 60s had to have had some effect on their brains. Otherwise, Gore would be president.

8. How 'bout NO FACES on Mt. Rushmore...
It is in the middle of Lakota country, in Lakota Sioux's sacred Black Hills, and they consider it an affront.

How bout the faces in the clouds REPLACE the ones on Rushmore.

12. Owned by the National Park Service, even though...
Fort Laramie Treaty (1868) promised the Sioux that they had full ownership and complete control of it. Then, thar was gold (and uranium) in them thar hills, and thus began the cycle of dispossession again.

I'm thinking we need to put together a series of these White House stage managed photo ops, with a slogan like "Vote this poser out of office!"

Let's put his head on Mt. Rushmore. We can all draw straws to decide who gets to cut it off.

Just being whimsical, Herr Asscroft - don't arrest me.

His tax-paid PR team did do that photo op where they lined up his profile to blend in with the real presidents.

24. Nah. That's more of an Emperor George P. Caligula sort of thing
You see, the current Emperor still has to deal with the wretched remnants of the Old Republic, of the Formerly Free Press, and the Middle Class.

Once these items are completely and irrevocably washed away, future members of the Imperial Family will have free reign to do this sort of insanity.

Don't kid yourself. The Caligulas and Neros of tomorrow are sharpening their fangs today. If the height of the Old Republic, with it's traditions of liberty, questioning, and Constitutional Governance could produce the Bush Cabal, then only God knows what monsters will be born out of it's dying, decaying embers.

One thing is certain, they will make Emperor Shrubya seem like a beacon of light...at least that's what history says.

25. Bu$h* belongs on "Mount Trashmore", a.k.a. the New York City DUMP
a.k.a. the Fresh Kills landfill.

Or -- better yet -- put Bu$h* in the New York City dump -- or in any city dump. With the other garbage.
