Poll question: Which pundit deserves to be fired for committing mal-journalism?
Edited on Mon Aug-22-05 01:14 PM by The Backlash Cometh
Some media whores don't even hide the fact that they're in it for the money. Still others try to sell an image of objectivity by claiming that they are Democrats; and still others insist that they can remain objective, even though their articles say otherwise.

Putting the obvious right-wing shills aside, (like Robert Novak who is obviously in deep doo-doo over the Plame Affair and Drudge who was the last man on this planet to post an article on Jeff Gannon) which journalist would you like to see fired for his part in the Disinformation of the American public?

1. other
The other category had ought to have a default subcategory: any faux news(?) spewer. Why Novak is not yet in Jail, and why Judy,Judy,Judy Miller will ever be out is one of those wonderful mysteries of a truly liberal democracy. Ironic that in the sort of America the frightwingers those two back desire they'd already be either locked up permanently, dead or disappeared.

2. I didn't include right-wing pundits because it would be no contest.
I'm including what may be considered the mainstream journalists, the ones that most Democrats might consider objective, but really aren't.

5. Need to create a separate poll!
More like a Yes/No checklist with ALL the pundits and newswhores names on it. A grand survey.

7. other: John Gibson of Faux News
For advocating that we should allow France to host the Olympics because they'd get blown up by terrorists and no one would give a shit.

8. firing is not enough; Julius Streicher like charges must be filed
And it needs to go all the way to the top, not just a few talking heads (who are just reading what the teleprompter says anyway).
