10. Not Endorsing Cruz------------Yet
Edited on Tue Sep-30-03 08:10 PM by UTUSN
She's working on the "no" part for now, most importantly to defeat Ahhhnuld. She thinks lots can change in a week, I dunno. She also sez Independents are being drawn to Ahhhnuld, but hurt himself with women in the "debate", I dunno. Sez the current polls are b.s., the results of the election will be VERY different, that CNN is going to have lots of 'splaining to do, I dunno. Sez she's going to go up and down the state telling everybody who Ahhhnuld really is.

Well, that's it, she's gone. Back to Larry's obsession with The Royals.

14. What she says about Arnold angering women is true...
...according to this article in the Chronicle:

Debate barbs put gender gap in the spotlight
Actor's comments, tone to Huffington anger women

15. If California truely despises Bush then....
they will vote to let Gray Davis get his full term!!!

those 20% of "Conservative Democrats" better vote NO or we will have to assume that they like to be screwed by the Bushistas!

19. She always opposed the recall!!!
Her campaign was about bringing the spotlight on the corruption in the political system! She still believed that the recall is wrong!

25. Not true. She has gone back and forth on the recall...
this per the L.A. Weekly, which endorsed Arianna:

http://www.laweekly.com/ink/03/45/web-bradley2.php

L.A. Weekly SEPT. 26 - OCT. 2, 2003
<snip>
Huffington may also have some difficulty explaining her changing position on the recall itself. In a column published before her surprise entry into the governor’s race, Huffington looked with favor on the recall, despite the right-wing fingerprints on its origins. But after entering the race, she came out against the recall. Later in her campaign, she endorsed the recall. Now she will again be opposed to the recall.

23. So it goes without saying...Arianna'a supporters will most likely vote...
Edited on Tue Sep-30-03 08:45 PM by Oracle
"Busty" or Camejo. And amost all will vote no on the recall...that's a big plus for Davis and Democracy.

And as long as McClintock doesn't make the same announcement, (as Arianna, to drop out) things will look a lot brighter.

24. What Arianna just did was *big*. She put the concerns of others first...
before her candidacy. The recall is about so much more than replacing Gray Davis, and it needs to be stopped. For her to work against it now is a shot in the arm.

Thank you, Arianna! :hi:
