Is Bush Media spinning inaccurate CA poll data to disillusion voters?
Will we ever know?

There is no simply no reason for articles like "Buoyed by the polls, Schwartzenegger plans his First days in office".

Could there be a more insulting and agenda driven headline? Looks like they are trying to make this even easier for the White House.

I feel like we are in the Soviet Union or something.

There is no reason for articles like this other than to try and keep voters at home and make it easier to steal California.

Somebody FIRE THE MEDIA!!*****

9. I think the fix is in also.
There is no way in hell steroid boy will capture four-f*cking-ty % of the vote - especially not in Northern California. I can only conclude the machines have been set and the results R just waiting 4 8pm on Oct 7th. I senT my ballot in last week. Most every dem I know has done the same. There has been a tremendous push 4 absentee ballots cause only 30% of the polling places will B open.

2. this is what they do every election
spin polls to make it seem as if they have actual support and to disillusion their opponents.

Then rig the election.

Republicans are traitors who hate America.

5. 2002 was interestingly different /VNS shut down hours before elections
closed, then never opened up again. The company filed bankruptcy and then sealed the records. I heard the records have been unsealed, most probably after being thoroughly scrubbed.

I believe this recall is so blatantly selling Schwartzenegger, in effect to not make the same mistake they did in 2002, where Democrats were said to be leading.

I know this is a pretty far out thought, but from all the lies coming from our media these days, how do we not know in fact that Davis is leading, for that matter, by a landslide?

3. i heard today from a DC source
that the poll question wording was specious. evidently it was something like, "if gray davis is recalled, for whom would you vote?"

sleazy, imho. this assumes that the recall is a done deal before you ask the arnold question.

4. Bingo!
And, Arnold strutting around discussing his plans for the first 100 days or whatever.... A play from the ROVE handbook-- deny the truth, play the "winner," lie repeatedly and the masses will stay home sunk in their defeatism.

6. Just read where Alameda county is keeping their Diebold machines.
Interested to know what other counties are Diebold friendly, or electronic friendly for that matter?

7. The folks in my office are ticked off
We had a staff meeting today and about all anyone wanted to talk about was the recall. Everyone in the room was amazed that Arnold was getting anyone's support. But then we are in the Bay Area. Maybe it's the clean air that helps us think clearly.

8. well, yes
the press has been exploiting these bad polls more than they ever did when Cruz was ahead or the number supporting a recall was declining, now on the cable news networks every recall story has how Arnold has opened a big lead. The bastards.
