I've made a study out of this guy. I listen to him on my way home from work. Complex character, loathsome, yet fascinating.

If you listened to him six months ago, you would have called him Hannity on steroids.

But now, he's starting to see the utter hypocrisy and dishonesty of Shrub.

dating back to his background as a beatnik (does he EVER talk about THAT on the air?). I'm pretty sure that he made a calculated decision to be an outrageous RW hatemonger to rake in big bucks cashing in when it became fashionable and profitable to do so. I'm pretty sure that people like Coulter are the same way. They may or may not be actual Repub supporters but they probably don't believe half the crap they spew as long as it makes them millions. There may be a few "sincere" wingnuts out of the RW hate radio crew but I bet the vast majority are just scamming profits out of the sheep.

If Savage had some kind of real 'conversion' against Bush, great, but I don't have any confidence of sincerity from people like this. Like the other poster said, it wouldn't surprise me at all if tomorrow he's on about how GREAT Bush is and how we need to bomb all people of color into bloodstains.
