Why is Pat Robertson getting money for Katrina relief?
Doesn't he say this is an act of gawed against a sinful city?
So now he's making money from the devil or something?
I do not get this AT ALL!

~snip~

Not surprising, instead of being reprimanded for evangelizing while in uniform, General Boykin is now the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence. (Just as it isn’t surprising that despite his public call for the assassination of a foreign head of state, Pat Robertson’s Operation Blessing was one of the first groups to receive taxpayer funds from the President’s Faith-Based Initiative for “relief work” on the Gulf Coast.)

8. Plus there's all those side businesses that Pat needs to pay for
like that Freedom Gold company of his and those bank accounts in the Caymans are running a little low, since Charles Taylor had to go into exile. It's hard to find brutal dictators who want to pretend to be christians now a days.

10. Meanwhile the poor get poorer
But after a decade of improvement in the 1990s, poverty in America is actually getting worse. A rising tide of economic growth is no longer lifting all boats. For the first time in half a century, the third year of a recovery (2004) also saw an increase in poverty. In a nation of nearly 300 million people, the number living below the poverty line ($14,680 for a family of three) recently hit 37 million, up more than a million in a year.

:grr: The most inflammatory quote I've ever heard from his mouth is ..."the haves and the have mores. But I call you my base."
(F911)

Insulting to the moral fabric. MORAL. Not rw nutty fundamentalism!

13. Disgusting
Reap profits from gawed's destruction. And sit smug about it.

There IS rebuilding already begun. Legitimate businesses will make a profit. But this guy? GRIM REAPER!

He should not have a dime. Look at what our country has become.
Carpetbaggers.

17. Welcome to the U.S. Theocracy
My wife often labels me a "catastrophist", but does anyone else feel like it is 1932. I tell you this, Chimpy was right about one thing, the world did need a regime change to ensure the safety of a generation. The trouble is, it wasn't Saddam, it was his own fundie pandering fascist group.

Pat deserves the money, he speaks to gawd on a daily basis. Who would jesus murder, Pat has the answers......

Fucking pathetic.........:evilfrown:
