If there is one thing that the Hurricanes have taught us, it is
that the government's plans during the Cold War for evacuating the cities in the event of a nuclear war were way over optimistic. Many of us knew this was the case back then, now we're being proved right.

2. Correction...the government's plans for itself during
a nuclear exchange are wonderful. Greenbrier hotel, WH command bunkers, Air Force 1, etc.

The rest of us are fucked.

3. Houston traffic is a major mess
too many people all leaving at the same time going the same place. It is not going too well. Took a guy 13 hours to move what he normally could of done in 30 minutes, now that is just scary...

In a nuclear attack, you've got maybe 30 minutes.
