Are there any attending? If not, why not?

3. As someone pointed out in the other thread- International Answer
who is a huge organizer of the march is very controversial and many Dems might not want to associate themselves with them.

4. I don't want to either,
but I want Peace in Iraq and I probably would stand with the devil to make my point. This is my first major protest and I can't wait. Have friends and family , six of them that will be first posters too.

5. Don't fall for the right wing spin - it's "Democratic"
And I think it will be better if this is a grassroots event without top pols.

6. Is this the ANSWER group that has many other issues on agenda...
besides the war? We turned off the C-Span showing of the speeches one year because they were getting so extreme...in many cases nothing to do with the war.

I think we can NOT judge our Democrats on whether they go to an ANSWER rally. I found some of their issues questionable last time.

7. So that the demonstration itself makes the news and is the story.
If the Dems show up - Bush WH can claim demonstration is only "one version of the truth".
