How Can Shriver be an "Objective" "Journalist" Now?

"But NBC News officials said on Tuesday that they had not decided what journalistic duties she would take on. And some people at NBC News and at other networks questioned whether Ms. Shriver's role as a disinterested journalist had been compromised, at least for political news."

In this article she claims that she will be returning to her job as a "journalist"...

Wait a minute- this is during an important Presidential election cycle- and she is not only the WIFE of a now prominent republican, but she OPENLY campaigned for the GOP in CA!!!

How can she even pretend to be objective at this point?

Should we start an e-mail campaign to NBC and bring these points up?

1. Was She Ever a Journalist?
I thought she was just another celebrity talking head.

2. That is why put the word in quotes...
...almost all "journalists" are merely celeberties to me, no different in my opinion than Chuck Heston, Ted Nugent, or Rush Limbaugh...

My wife says she heard that Maria is "welcome back" at NBC, but cannot cover issues regarding politics and California.

They'll stick her on Dateline interviewing her new right wing hivedwellers.

5. She should be banned from ALL political news, not just CA...

...that is BULLSHIT and we need to e-mail NBC.

The DNC needs to start getting active on these kind of things...
