10. I don't want to think about THAT belly button.
Anyhow, don't you have to be a mammal to have one?

3. Less than none, in some circles.
Otherwise, I don't know. Maybe he can pull something out of his backside.

8. He's got what a majority of nuts in the House and Senate give him
That could be a little or a lot, depending on how suicidal the lemmings really are.

11. Here is the terrifying question: How does he "earn" more?
He will find a way to get more "Political Capital".

How many Americans will have to die?

Last time, it was 3000...

12. Negatoovy.
Like his job numbers -- he's losing more than he's gaining. Never going to get it back.

At this point, even another attack, which might have helped him in the past, will create three times the reaction the Katrina non-response did. IMO.

Dare I hope that history's judgment will take less time than usual?

13. ha ha

Good one.

To be mildly serious, the only polling number that Bush has left in the range of 50% or above, i.e. more support than opposition for, is 'handling terrorism' at 49% support. That number props Bush but falls in the aftermath of Al Qaeda attacks that achieve terror, i.e. kill significant numbers of people in Western countries.

Other than that, the political repo men are sitting around and waiting for one more round of screwups or overreachings or consequences of his policies.
