Since When Do Judges Campaign for a SC Justice? ---pix->>>
Edited on Mon Oct-17-05 12:43 PM by Stephanie

Doesn't this violate some ethical code?

President Goerge W. Bush (2nd R) speaks to the media as he poses with former Texas Supreme Court justices in the Oval Office of the White House to show support for the choice of Harriet Miers for Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, October 17, 2005. From left to right are: former Associate Justice of Texas Supreme Court Eugene Cook, former Associate Justice of Texas Supreme Court Raul Gonzalez, Attorney General of Texas Greg Abbott, (seated)

3. "Ethical Codes" are quaint and outdated, thanks to B*shCabal™
And yes, I think this is the first time this has ever happened.

4. The real tragedy, of course
is that they all automatically OUTQUALIFY Miers! And just who appointed these justices anyway?

7. What strikes me about the pictures is
1. All those in the pictures are in positions of considerable power.

2. The US is a multi-cultural society and around half the population is female.

3. Every single person in the picture is a white male.

9. Yeah always trusted a Texan Judge
how many people sentenced to death in Texas, they should have been waving little merican flags, they just needed Karen Hughes there, to cater their little barbaque.

10. World indeed has officially gone crazy
If I were unconvinced before, seeing a group of "texas" Formers Cassidy gang come out support Miers has got to throw on some red lights.

Bush Admin propaganda machine is fighting hard to save the nomination because it's already dead in the water. They even used George Washington as a back drop. /gag
