TIME TO ASK: WHAT did the President know and WHEN did he know it?
Edited on Wed Oct-26-05 11:01 AM by jackstraw45
Bush:

"Listen, I know of nobody -- I don't know of anybody in my administration who leaked classified information. If somebody did leak classified information, I'd like to know it, and we'll take the appropriate action. And this investigation is a good thing...I want to know who the leakers are." - Sept. 2003

"And I've constantly expressed my displeasure with leaks, particularly leaks of classified information. And I want to know, I want to know the truth. I want to see to it that the truth prevail." - Oct. 2003

"Listen, I know of nobody -- I don't know of anybody in my administration who leaked classified information....If there's a leak out of my administration, I want to know who it is." - Feb. 2004

"Karl Rove, the architect,"- Nov. 2004

Rove:

"I didn’t know her name and didn't leak her name." - August 2004

1. President - out of touch or involved?
He called Rove "the architect." How could Bush NOT know this stuff was going on?

This question WILL be asked in coming weeks and months.

Why not start asking now? :)

2. Bush gets off on lack of ability to form requisite mens rea
Edited on Wed Oct-26-05 01:06 PM by Neil Lisst
Now can I go out and play, Poppy?!!

Will anyone believe Bush could be part of a plan that required this much thinking and planning?

Plus, he can fall back on his "I was wrestling a pretzel, and didn't hear much of what was said by Cheney that day."

4. But he SHOULDN'T....we hold him to a lower standard
But in all seriousness, Rove is his CLOSEST advisor and may be indicted over the next few days.

This is BIGGER than Watergate.

3. Or maybe he still doesn't know. His brain maybe doesn't
retain knowledge that isn't about sports.

Time for us to HOLD HIM TO THE FIRE!

The BUCK does stop THERE.

We need to STOP making excuses for him not knowing.

It's the ONLY way joe dumbsh*t who voted for him will wake up.
