What the HELL happened to CSpan? Brent Bozell works for them?

Last night I watched Brent Bozell interviewing Marla Mapes about her book and the National Guard story.

Is he on the CSpan payroll?

What a bloody idiot.

Marla had to keep repeating the same facts and points to him, time and time again.

He would just rephrase the question, or read a transcript of someone else asking the same question.

If he is, they better get a liberal on there to interview conservatives. But Bozell is such a chicken, the other day he was to appear on MSNBC with former CIA analyst Larry Johnson on the other side but he whined enough to the producers to not have him on when Johnson was on.

C-Span often brings in big names to interview their authors. That doesn't mean they are on the C-Span payroll. It means someone at the C-Span thought this author should be interviewed by this famous person.

For instance, Brian Willimas interviewed President Carter recently.

5. I saw the interview

Mapes handled his Repig comebacks very well. Bozell was getting frustrated that he couldn't prove her wrong. If I had an e-mail addy I would congratulate Mapes on holding her own against this bunch of thieves, crooks and smear mongers.

C-SPAN just lost all credibility, the fact that they hired Bozell shows they no longer care about being an objective news service.

I also saw this fool doing the interview for C-SPAN, I was flipping through the channels and I could not believe my eyes when I saw this right wing spin doctor working for C-SPAN. I had to switch back to see if I actually saw what I thought I saw, and sure as hell it was Brent Bozell doing an interview of Mary Mapes for C-SPAN.

Was Ann Coulter not available ?

No honest news outlet would hire Bozell, so now C-SPAN is in the business of putting out right wing spin, and I will not watch any of their shows anymore.

And to the person who said it was ok because they had Brian Williams interview Jimmy Carter, I say bullshit. Brian Williams is a real journalist who is pretty much an objective news reporter, Brent Bozell is a lying, spinning, right wing hack who makes a living lying and spinning right wing garbage at the Media research center and on Hannity & Colmes.

10. He Doesn't Work For Them

A whole series of interviews has been set up with pundits and authors interviewing other pundits and authors. He's not the only one doing it and it's been going on for about 4 weeks now.

He's a guest host for a one-off, just like the rest involved in this project. They've been talking about it since early October.

11. When Bryan Lamb gave up Book Notes, they went with guests to

interview authors for this new show. I doubt that he is a regular. It would be proof positive that C-Span favors the right wing if they hired that operative.

I've seen it working the other way, too, with Bill Press interviewing Roy Moore, the ten commandments judge idiot, for example. I'm not worried about it although Bozell is an idiot.
