Is there a news blackout from Iraq?
Yesterday the news coming out of Iraq was terrible, it included reports of deaths and attacks days old. I'm getting to the point where I hate reading the news when I boot up. I open up yahoo and there are stories everyday of new attacks and deaths. Today was supposed to be a bloody day by all accounts, but, it's so damn quiet. Almost like a bad western movie where the actors waiting an attack say it's quiet then all hell breaks loose.
It seems like there should be news from there today, I believe we're being blacked out, I believe all hell is breaking out there right now, and we may never learn about it, or if we do it'll be weeks later.

there was a report and live video on msnbc or cnn showing smoke coming from Baghdad, possible explosion, everything is on edge there today, we'll follow the story...
But not a damn thing since then. I've got it on c-span2 now.
