Was I Seeing Things On C-Span This Morning?
Edited on Fri Dec-09-05 11:56 AM by Dinger
On the bottom of the screen, during Washington Journal, it said Bill Moyers would be on, live, this afternoon at
1:00 est (live), on the bu$h "administration." Now I see there is nothing like that listed anywhere.

What gives?? Or was I seeing things?

MOON TWP. - Reporter and commentator Bill Moyers emphasized the ability to express ideas through writing and the skill of being a good listener during his lecture to Robert Morris University students Wednesday.

"Somewhere along the way, I learned to write a letter," said Moyers, explaining how a letter to then-Sen. Lyndon B. Johnson got him a summer internship and was the start of his career.

Moyers, the host of the Friday-night national news magazine "NOW with Bill Moyers" on PBS-TV, was in Pittsburgh to present the third lecture in Robert Morris' 2005-06 Pittsburgh Speakers Series at Heinz Hall. Wednesday afternoon, he talked about his life and journalism to students at the Moon Township campus.

14. Yeah watched it, was a good panel afterwards too.
It was part of the speakers @ the National Security Archives.
Seymour Hersh and an editor from the NY times were on the panel.

7. I saw the same thing about Bill Moyers on the screen
which made me want to watch it. It definetly is Facist Fridays on Cspan - I wasn't too sure about Brian Lamb being pro-gop until this moringing when he was taking callers, who were soldiers, about the good things going on in Iraq & how media is not reporting it. He was definetly frustrated when the first 10 or so soldiers who called in had nothing good to say - no specifics. These calls weren't going his way & he kept wanting officers to call in. When he finally did get one to talk about 'good' things he coxed him & let him ramble forever...

9. bias
I didn't think Brian was so much prejudiced as I thought the word could have gone out to military hawks to call in. After all, it's lot easier for the supporters to speak out than the opponents.
