Yeah! Keith Olbermann is now on the front page.
After the neon-titty girl, it's good to have some eye candy for the ladies of DU!!

(And those men who find KO attractive, too!)

I read that MSNBC was doing a big web push in advertising, focusing on Keith, Rita and bow-tie boy.

Don't care for the other two, but KO is worth seeing every time I go to the discussion home.

:loveya: :loveya: :loveya:

1. When it comes to touting KO.... MSNBC is preaching
to the choir. Maybe MSNBC should advertise KO in freeperland.

2. They could, but I doubt the Freepers would pry their
uninformed asses away from the "War on Christmas" (trademark) as spewed on Faux News.

6. Fuck FAUX news, they don't draw a gnat's ass in relative ratings
And the more we and the other DemoBlogs pay attention to them, the more distracted we become. This week's TOP 10 Nielsen Cable ratings do not include one single FAUXED UP program, NOT ONE. The TENTH rated cable program was Spongebob with a 2.7 rank-4.04 million viewers.

They are ONLY capable of drawing a 55+ aged audience and their overall demographic sucks, and if you ever spent two wretched hours watching their shit channel anytime in 24 hours, you'll see they get ZERO quality advertising. Wheel of Fortune in THIRTY MINUTES gets more viewers every night (8.8 million) than FAUXED does for the entire 8-11PM time slot.

I could go on, but they are not worth our energy. You want the BEST example? Turn on FAUX and Friends in the morning. Watch and see how many people are outside their window. Then turn to the TODAY show.

'Nuff said.

5. You like Bow-tie?
I think he's a dolt, myself.

But, can you tell me why you like him? I'm not blasting you - I really am wondering why you like him.

Thanks! :hi:

19. It's not so much his opinions, which I sometimes disagree with.
I guess I just "like" him. He makes me laugh sometimes, he uses language in an interesting way, he is polite. I hate to say something this lame, but I wouldn't mind having a beer with the guy. He just seems "nice".

I've had this same reaction since I first saw him as part of whoever's 4-person roundtable it was that had him sitting over to the right (!).

11. My first husband looked like Keith O
Every time I see Keith I think of my first husband, who died nearly 40 years ago. Not only is there a physical resemblance, there is also a personality resemblance. Keith stirs fond memories.

12. oooh! I found him here, too, just by chance
Fingers crossed that this means it's a web-wide ad push for Keef!

http://www.overheardinnewyork.com/

This is a totally hilarious web site, by the way.

13. He's advertising on talking points memo, too.
http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/

He had Joshua Micah Marshall on his show the other night.

We are changing cable providers and my one requirement is that they carry MSNBC so I can see Keef. One of the dish companies charges extra for MSNBC, but not for FOX or CNN.

14. Keith !
:loveya: :loveya: :loveya: :loveya: :loveya:

I wonder if clicking on the ad let's MSNBC know we're watching him? Also, it may help Skinner get some more of their ad dollars !

And yes, I noticed on one of the "porn" threads, somebody did find that ad on many conservative websites too!

23. I heard they're advertising on Powerline too
but I won't go there!

And the third person they're plugging is not Bowtie Boy, it's Joe Scaryborough.

But I didn't see THEM get any three days of ads!

:loveya: Keith.
