Seems people are confused over the total cost of Iraq. Did they miss this?

I still see people here kicking around estimates of $200-300 billion up to $500 billion for the Iraq Camping Trip. Remember that we were told this little adventure would "pay for itself" in oil revenue, or worst case, cost a few million. Here is a recent itemized accounting from the reasonably reputable (if a little right-leaning) NY Times:
