The RW could sure use John Wayne right now

They need a hard-hittin', no holds barred hero movie. The Duke would go over to Irake and straighten that situation out in no time, killing him a dozen terrists with one shot and raising the ol' stars and stripes in Baghdad. Then he'd get the oil flowin' and save the economy. Then he'd have a few words for them gawddammed terrist-sympathizin' wet-pantsed libruls. Then the movie end up with the Duke in Church, a-praisin' Jesus and thankin' Jesus for making 'Merica the beacon of freedom.
That's what the Duke would do! And 'Merica would unite behind him just like they did when he won Veetnam in that "Green Beret" movie.

He only fought in movies, and did not serve during WWII. All bravado and no action--unlike "wimps" like Gen. Jimmy Stewart.......

3. The problem RW has with movies these days

is, in order to film a movie, you need a screenplay and shooting script.
That means you're reliant on people who can actually write. People who got that far along in school generally don't like to prostitute their talents and insult their own intelligences by crapping out a story that serves up RW myths as facts and reinforces Dark Age worldviews, then signing their names to it. There are exceptions of course, which is how we got the Rambo series and why Chuck Norris has a career.

Hence the lasting RW disappointment at the movies.
