My buddy and blog-mate Invictus has just posted a festive holiday poem...


‘Twas the night before Christmas
And families all over gathered to pray
Not for presents from Santa
But that they’d not been spied on by the NSA

Bush at Camp David, sitting on his throne
Having given the order -- there’s a tap on your phone
Calling Mommy or Daddy or even Aunt Sue?
Your call is a three-way, who even knew?

The Constitution, Bush says, is just a piece of paper
As he embarks on his latest illegal caper.
“Don’t worry,” he says, “For your safety I’ll toil”
As soon as, that is, he takes care of Big Oil.
