The Mission Was Accomplished Iraq Was An Imminent Threat They Had WMD'S
Edited on Wed Oct-29-03 09:33 PM by Beetwasher
Whenever the Chimp makes a claim the Dems should respond that the public should believe it about as much as they now believe that The Mission Was Accomplished, Iraq Was An Imminent Threat and They Had WMD'S.

It should sound something like this:

"Mr. Bush is saying that the Iraq war has made the world safer, well, the American people should believe that about as much as they now believe The Mission Was Accomplished, Iraq Was An Imminent Threat and They Had WMD'S"

End of story, repeat ad infinitum from now to the election. Shout it from buildings, sound like a robot. We've never been handed a better soundbite.

4. Well, that's the implication
but putting it the way I suggested is much more descriptive and drives the point home w/ emotionally-charged and media-hyped examples...

3. I think we should say: SAFER FOR WHO?
Edited on Wed Oct-29-03 09:51 PM by Selwynn
Certainly not for the Soliders now dying in Iraq on a daily basis.

Certainly not safter for the American public, as US hatred and anti-US sentiment around the world is now higher than ever

Certainly not safer for the Iraqi's who traded in one kind of horror for another, as their homes and livlihood are utterly destroyed and they exist under a new kind of occuping dictatorial force.

It's certainly not safer to travel in the world

It's certainly not safer to live abroad

It's certainly not safer to be an international aid worker

It's certainly not safer to work for the Red Cross

It's certainly not safer to work for the UN

So WHO EXACTLY IS IT SAFTER FOR NOW?

EDIT - oh yeah, its certainly not safer for Kurds. It's certainly not safer for Palestinians.

5. That's a Great Follow-up
But I would love to see the sound bite I mentioned as the preface to and endless stream of similar follow-ups by every Dem in front of a mic....
