Grief for children killed as they played
http://www.news.scotsman.com/international.cfm?id=1345312003

BLOOD and children’s hats and shoes littered the dusty soil in the village of Hutala, still pockmarked with dozens of small craters from Saturday’s attack.

Hamidullah grieved for his eight-year-old son, Habibullah - one of nine children killed when the US aircraft opened fire on a former Taleban commander. "They were just playing ball, and then the shots came down," he said.

The US army insisted yesterday that a "known terrorist", Mullah Wazir, was killed in the attack, which had been based on good intelligence. But this was disputed by residents in the small mountain village who were grieving for their lost children yesterday.

About a dozen US soldiers stood guard outside the mud house which locals said belonged to the target, Mullah Wazir. But Hamidullah said the man killed along with the children was a cousin of Wazir called Abdul Hamid.

2. what's a few kids if you bag a 'known terrorist'?
can't underestimate the threat of a terrorist holed up in some mud hut in a backwoods afghan village. /sarcasm off :grr:

3. they targeted this "known terrorist" because he killed 2 Contractors!!
See, the US now avenges the deaths of their beloved contractors working in the middle east. So when a few children get in the way it is okay, it was for our freedoms,..... :grr:
