1. Haven't you heard!
The campaign is over. Dean is the nominee. All other canidates are pretenders and those who support them are Repug NRA Marlboro Man types.

(sarcasm off)

2. SC polls are meaningless until Iowa and NH are over.
Dean will get a huge bounce after he dominates the first two contests.

4. Not in SC
Dean is way too far behind. Southerner Edwards wins SC easily. A hothead yankee will not fare well.

6. A sign of things to come in the GE I'm affraid.
Edited on Mon Dec-08-03 07:19 PM by RummyTheDummy
Dean will be utterly drubbed in the south by * in the GE. Of course some Deanies say the South isn't really part of the country, at least in terms of ideology, which renders it irrelevant.

You'll see a lot of 60-40/70-30 blow outs across the south next Nov.

Not saying anyone else would do a whole lot better, though. So save it Deanies.

7. way too far behind?
Edwards only has 16% and Dean has 7% that is only nine points plus it is a statistical deadheat for second place including Dean. If Dean comes out of Iowa and NH with wins and has Jesse Jr and Al Gore campaigning for him in SC (Gore is popular among African-Americans)he will gain alot of ground in the state.

13. I wouldn't make much of Jessie Jr's endorsement
Mrs King's would be a good one.

11. possibly. that is still a big "if" though
I would not underestimate the energizing effect this could have on Clark people especially in Iowa where they could flock to Gep or Edwards out of spite.

Flock to Edwards... thie whole thing is welcome news for Edwards, maybe just what we needed.

5. also same polling organization puts Dean
ahead in Iowa and NH. Good news for Edwards in SC though with a close fought battle for second.

8. Unfortunately...
No matter how many democratic supporters there are in SC, I'm afraid it's likely that state will go to Bush... :-(
