How is the US going to get the Al-Qaeda held in Iran?

I'm not aware that we have any jurisdiction in seeking to detain these individuals. They should be extradited to their countries of origin, and that's what's being done.

5. There once was two paths .....

One would have involved sensitive diplomacy with a regime on the cusp of democracy from within, ..... where the US could have aided the forces of reform in Iran by showing them support and NOT doing anything that would marginalize the reform movement in Iran, thereby bringing its motives into question domestically .....

Yet: .... THIS Administration decided to take another path: to paint ALL of Iran as "evil", which undercut the ability of the reformers to develop an explicit relationship with the US: one that could have seen the transfer of Al Qaeda DIRECTLY from Iran to the US .......

But: .... that wasnt on the PNAC agenda ... which DEMANDED that Iran was the province of Satan, and must be annihilated through force ..... and occupied as a US/Israeli satrap ..
