Did the Valerie Plame story die already?
I haven't heard a word about this for awhile now.

Has the * cabal managed to dodge this bullet?

How can we get this TREASONOUS action back to the forefront?

2. Can you imagine the outrage
If it had happened under the Big Dog's watch??

Impeachment hearings would already be in full swing.

This needs to be brought out again somehow. Any ideas?

3. Aggravate your congressional representatives
Edited on Tue Dec-16-03 06:16 AM by BOSSHOG
Write your local paper, contact Joe Conason or David Corn and lets let them know it is still pursuable. I doubt ambassador Wilson will let this die. He's waiting for the right time to poke bush in the nose with it. Raise Hell, early and often. EMAIL YOUR CONGRESSMAN ABOUT THIS ISSUE RIGHT NOW.

FYI - www.bustbob.com. Log on and sign a petition to novak's boss asking that he come clean with the name of the leaker(s) or be fired.

6. Lawrence o'Donnell called it a 30 Day Story
during the first week. That was pretty much on the nose.

It might have had more milage if Wilson hadn't been such an obvious, open, and vocal democratic partisan. Besides being a Kerry advisor, when Wilson gave the interview fantasizing his obit would begin "the man who did more harm to George W Bush then anyone else" I knew the story was pretty much over.

How excited do you think people will be if all they see in the story is dems and republicans bashing each other as usual. Wilson's grandstanding, up to and including the Vanity Fair pictorial and interview immunized the republicans.

7. It's dead. Attempt to revive it will be seen as entirely partisan
politics. And of course it will be partisan politics. Let's face it, most of the people on the left are hostile to the CIA, so all this concern for an outed CIA agent rings hollow. If we push it, it will be seen as just political posturing and not believed.

During the Reagan years there was some left outfit that had outing agents as it's only purpose. I can't remember the name, but it had huge support among the left. One of the agents outed by them was killed.

With a history like that, how can we make anybody believe that we care about a CIA agent's career?

15. Got Any Links For That Broad Brush You're Using To Smear
Yeah Who Was that 'group'?

Was It A Front Group Used To Further Internal Intel Struggles And Smear

the Left At the Same Timw? That Would Never Happen In Our Sacred And Upstanding Secret Gov't.!!!!

And How About A Demographic Breakdown of 'the Left' that shows where this

Majority of CIA Haters Comes From, got a link for that?

8. Last I heard the couple was still dicussing book and movie options....
Is it any wonder this story died? Hard to imagine any real outrage exists when he's shopping her around and arranging photo spreads in Vanity Fair.

The not so secret secret agent.

18. the Vanity Fair photo spread did not help
Credibility goes out the window when you start trying to hawk a book deal and stage photo shoots with a 'secret agent' motif.

They pissed away doing the right thing for money.

9. Who?
We need to stop saying "This story has LEGS" everytime something happens, because as we have seen time and time again, amputations are Rove's specialty...

symbolic of who we really are. We couldn't run with an issue if it was wearing Nikes.

Edited on Tue Dec-16-03 08:05 AM by OneTwentyoFive
Nothing will ever happen when they control the airwaves like Hitler did in the 30's and 40's. The Plume story was big and demanded a full investigation. Nope, pimping Chimpys invasion and BOOMING economy are the only things on the Corporate list.
