Anyone think this 9/11 report today is a trap?
Anybody want to bet this thing is to get Democrats to say this is proof of the 9/11 commission being fair and bipartisan - then they come up with some final answers saying all of these people who "failed" were put in place by Clinton (and of course, Bush didn't have time to replace them yet because he was dealing with an "obstructionist Senate" that wouldn't confirm his appointees.)

Sorry, I just tend to be a little suspicious when a Republican appears to be supplying ammunition to the Democrats. We need to make sure it won't blow up in our faces.

2. I agree, but
it is true and would be pretty heavy stuff to put out there for a trap. I'm hoping that this is legitimate and that Kean is a straight shooter.

9. 9/11 commission
although a republican, keane is no winger. also, i'd throw out that new jersey was hit hard and the activist 9/11 widows predominantly reside in jersey, so he may feel a particular responsibility to investigating the attacks.

5. I believe many Republicans don't
like Bush and his dangerous policies either. However I too am a little leary of this but I do remember that it was Nixon's own party that came to him to tell him to resign so there is hope that repugs who truly care about this country will eventually step up to the plate.

12. Yeah,
I'm hoping that real Americans, Republicans included, will come forth with this information.

Bush, et.al., are not real Americans. They don't believe in America. They don't believe in American values. They are not patriotic. They are loyal only to the Bush Crime Family and the almighty dollar.

They believe they are above the law. They believe that by birthright, America's resources and anything else on Earth that they want belongs to THEM.

I have hope that real Americans will unite against perhaps the most corrupt government in our history and throw the bastards out.

On a rant here.

6. Anything is possible but the manner in which it is languaged
with regards to people who SHOULD have been fired leads me to believe that the shit will probably hit about equal. Some of the areas I can imagine Keane hitting hard on will be the CIA memos indicating that some of the terrorists had entered the country that were not followed up on...I also imagine he will bevery critical of Freeh in that Freeh actively resisted computerizing the FBI and their files were apparently a mess...no doubt the Crowley memo will factor into it but I am also curious as to whether he will implicate the VISA express program that was pushed through the state dept by someone in the Bush admin...since this program which made it possible for Saudi Nationals to get visas within 2 days versus 60 was how at least two of the terrorists got into the country.

18. BTW one impetus for Keane being pissed is that many oil companies
(and Keane IS CONNECTED to oil interests) consider Iraq still far to fucked up to do business or investing in...I can't imagine they are terribly impressed with the manner in which this all went down.

19. Where IS the story?
I haven't seen any mention of it anywhere. MSNBC even covered the Madonna endorsement but nobody has said a word about the Kean statement. Could they ALL be waiting to hear from the White House what the spin has to be?

As to this being a trap, Kean would have to be a lot further down the road to personal moral bankruptcy than he's ever shown before. I'm pretty certain that if that is what he said, that is what he meant.

Anyway, there aren't many of his caliber who are willing to throw themselves on their own sword for a clown like Bozo.

21. what about all this stuff?
http://www.globalresearch.ca/articles/CHO212A.html

Kean has lots of "odd" connections, that have been discussed here at some length, right?

what about that?

and what about Lee Hamilton? want a coverup with a willing dem cabana boy? Hamilton's your boy. Just ask Lawrence Walsh.

until they start responding DIRECTLY to Mrs. Breitweiser and the rest of the direct victims of 911, I'll take everything that comes from their mouths with a huge block of salt.

remember the compromise they've already made with the junta over release of so-called priviledged documents?

please
