RE: Bush Lies: Are Dems Taking The High Road?
Because it is far past the time to take the gloves off.

BushCo has told scores of HUGE lies--particularly in regards to 9-11 and Iraq (See David Corn's 'The Lies of George W. Bush' for a concise, chronological record). What in the hell are they waiting for?

Bush's entire 2003 State of the Union address needs to be revisited--you know, the one in which he stated there is "no doubt" that Sadaam possesses the most "lethal weapons ever devised" and must be disarmed.

How about the stonewalling of the 9-11 investigation? This stuff needs to be hammered upon.

Relentlessly.

Take power, Democrats! Arm yoursleves with the truth!

1. Check out Dean's site:
"On January 20th, George Bush will deliver his State of the Union address. But he doesn’t have a clue about the state of our nation. He has sold our government to the special interests and has forgotten the concerns of the American people.

Despite George Bush, the state of our union is strong and a new age of participation in our democracy is at hand.

If millions of us speak together right now, our message will be clear. Tell George Bush the truth about the state of our nation."

2. Everytime I See A "Pundit" on Any News Program
who is a Dem, they are always counterbalanced by an admin. shill and what invariably happens is, whenever the Dem pundit goes in for the kill with the "Bush Lied" line, the admin. shill begins babbling nonstop and talks loudly over the Dem pundit and does not allow the line to come out in any clear fashion. Additionally, more often than not, the supposedly objective anchor, mediating the discussion, will always invariably say something like "oh, you don't know that for sure!" So what you have is 2 against 1 stopping the "Bush lied" meme any time someon brings it up on TV.

3. I agree, but with one caveat. . .
This must be addressed to Bush and the administration only. NOT Republicans in general. That's because there are plenty of good, honest Republicans out there who will join us, if only for this election, because they are as upset about this stuff as we are(and the inflated growth of government and other economic issues.) In fact, I think this is something we should all remember - when you bash the "generic Republican" you could be alienating someone who could be an ally for this election. We want to bring 'em in, not piss 'em off for getting lumped in with the jerks running the show.
