thought that with this announcement, Hispanics across the US would celebrate with dancing in the streets and would throw flowers at Bush when he campaigned in their cities/counties/states.

Like Iraq; it ain't gonna happen!

edited for grammar

10. Bush knows it will not be popular
But could care less because he knows the RW base will vote for him no matter what he does. They will accept whatever spin he puts on it and remain loyal to the party.
His sheeple have rings in there noses.

Edited on Wed Jan-07-04 06:26 PM by populistmom
This, along with I'm sure some little favors Arnie will do might give him an stronger edge in in California. That what this is about in my opinion- California and all their juicy electoral votes come November.

16. From what I gathered on the news tonight, most hispanics think this
plan is half cocked. Apparently they see right through this little pandering. When is this misadministration going to wake up and realize this country is not as stupid as they think? If I was a hispanic, I think I would be pretty pissed off at the stuff I was hearing. "We need these people to take the suck jobs that americans won't take" I think I would find that insulting.
