Official "Double Entendre" Thread!
A double entendre is a phrase that is essentially an ambiguity of meaning -- arising from language that lends itself to more than one interpretation.

So, how about some examples? :D

5. my brother in law
refering to Bazooka bubble gum, but sounded funny

"the longer you chew it the harder it comes" he meant to say "gets" instead of comes but still would have been funny as hell

3. In my classroom
This happened in my classroom. I keep a box of playground, footballs, and baseballs int the class storage room. Periodically, I ask students to help clean up the room.

A few years ago, at the beginning of a new school year, one student was assigned to clean the room. He stuck his head out of the door a few minutes later and announced loudly to the entire class, "Wow! Mr. Teach1st has a lot of balls!"
