My grass is blue
Hey DU bluegrass fans!

Are any of you going to the Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival in Amcramdale NY in July? If so, how about a DU bluegrass meet up?

The dates are July 15th - 18th and the line up is awesome as usual.

1. Great pic of Del!
Del McCoury, for the uninitiated!

I'm in the Deep South, so I won't be making it to the July festival in NY, but my band, Patchwork String Band, is opening for Karl Shiflett and Big Country on July 3 in Lafayette, LA. We played the Two Rivers Festival in Leakeville, MS this weekend.

Keep on pickin'!

2. Well, its cool to find some Bluegrass fans here!!!!
Yes, I dont play, but am a fan.

New York State is too far for me, but we get it on the radio here.

Southwest Ohio..the Dayton/Middletown/Hamilton/Cincinnati area....was the home to some of the orginal fanbases for this musci, and some good performers came from around here...like the Osborne Brothers, Red Allen, Dave Evans.....
