They are willing to do this because their lives have become so unbearable, that they feel that they have nothing left to lose. And you are forgetting that there are an increasing number of young women who are becoming suicide bombers. Apparently, it doesn't take a great deal of persuasion, more's the pity. These people have no status in life, but become martyrs and heroes in death. It's a very sad and tragic scenario.;(

has theorized that the "virgin" thing is misquoted. He thinks it means "88 raisins" or something like it; symbolizing there is plenty of food in heaven. Not so different than other views heaven as a land of plenty.

But you are ignoring the latest twist, a couple of the newest suicide bombers have been female, sadly.

I used to think people were trained for suicide missions. Then I saw, I think a Frontline. In reality these are people who are already suicidal, and groups like HAMAS take advantage of their dispair by promising the person their family will be well taken care of.

If you were to take a drive by post, with this particular subject matter, and post it on free republic, or any usenet *.politics.* thread, you would instantly get a hundred "*uck those towelheads", and "nuke 'em all let god sort 'em out" responses.
