Some days it really does pay to get out of bed :)
The local station which airs the O'Franken Factor wants to interview me for an internship position in their news department.

I got a pay raise today as well. For those who don't know, I have the absolute best job a college student can have without being involved in the porno industry: I sit at a computer and all I have to do is change the paper trays in the computer lab's printers, and as Kleeb, Duckie, Lizz, and several others are aware, I'm essentially getting paid to post on DU and talk on AIM. :D

And finally, after weeks of struggling, I FINALLY FINISHED PETE ROSE'S BOOK! This "tome" might be the most repulsively written book EVER. I had an easier time reading Slander and Treason, and the only other book that compares with this one in terms of how unbelievably bitchy the tone is is Hannity's new vomit-fest.

Do NOT read Rose's book. I suspect he was using that voice recognition technology, because there's absolutely no way someone would intentionally write like they speak in a dugout.

1. Good luck with the internship!
It's a good thing kids today grow up with computers. Back when I was a student, in the late 1980s, our computer labs were still new. Let's just say there was a learning curve for some people. ;-)

Oh, and Pete Rose can kiss my ass...I'm still pissed off at him.

2. YEA NEO!!!
We're proud of ya! Stick with it, and you'll do great! I didn't have a clue that's what you did. Go you. I'm jealous. Anyway, I usually stay away from biographies as it is, unless it's JFK or something. Have a great day...Celebrate...you deserve it!!
