Anyone else think the NBA playoffs are awesome this year?

This has been quite the playoffs...in all series in the confrence semifinals. Personally i'm a Detroit fan but you have to be able to appreciate the way New Jersey came out and worked thier tales off in 3 OT's to beat Detroit. The Lakers/Spurs series was very good as well.

3. From my standpoint, they started off great

In round one the home favorites were covering virtually everything -- first half, second half, game. Las Vegas sportsbook managers are still whining about it, their worst April in decades.

The NBA playoffs are always terrific once the slob Mavericks have been ousted. As long as they're still around, the lack of defense seems to rub off on legit squads from time to time.

the Spurs and Lakers didn't go seven.

And according to the script, the Kings will win on Wednesday, assuring another all-California WCF.

5. first round sucked, but the second made up for it

The Nets have proven they are a team to be feared in the East. Despite last night's loss, the team has three days to rest Kidd and recover.

I say the Nets take game 7 and then go on to down Indiana in 5 games.

What a playoffs!
