10. They bored me
Chris Rock, Joe Pesci, Jet Li and Danny Glover were very entertaining in the 4th one. I can watch that movie over and over and still be entertained. I guess I didn't like them because they of the cast maybe.

11. See, I felt the 4th one was something of a mockery of all the others
...which all had some very serious overtones, an excellent & soulful rapport between Riggs(Gibson) and Murdoch(Glover)'s family, and great understated comedy.

In the 4th, I felt like Riggs, and Murdoch to a lesser extent had become caricatures of themselves, and that spirituality or soulfulness of the original trilogy was lacking. Essentially, IMO, #4 just lacked subtlety and tastefulness.

That, and René Russo was friggin pregnant, so I didn't get to see her kick butt!

12. She kicked a little but
Not much but she say some action in the flick. It's just that some of the comedy in the 4th was entartaining to where I could watch over and over. The little story lines in the movie where funny like the Murdoch-Butters thing.

my presumption. :-) I only made it through half of it you see.

Aw, OK Champ, I'll just chalk it all up to different tastes in humor/story lines :-)

19. You would've liked the 2nd half
I just found the movie to be hilarious, from the scene with the arsonist and Murdoch acting like a chicken to the scene where everyone is inhaling laughing gas and Butters admits to having his daughter's kid.

18. That is a toughie
I guess "Hero" music video by Enrique. It was pretty much filmed in this state and it kind of too me was it was a me and you against the world concept instead of just 'me' you know what I mean? I have no idea really, the song came out around the time I knew her and whenever I do hear that song it reminds me of her. Though I barely even like the song. :silly:

16. Are you the same "Champ" who was on the radio a few years ago?
One of the local radio stations would run interviews with "the champ".

The Champ is notoriously (quite) a few bottles short of a six-pack and kinda hard of hearing (at best).

I'll see if I can do one from memory.

Interviewer: So, Champ, how was your day today?

Champ: I've had a really bad cold and I'm still not really over it, but let me tell you about this guy I met in the drug store. I was there with my wife and he made me look so bad in front of her I just had to do something about it.

Interviewer: About what?

Champ: There I was, coughing and hacking, waiting in line at the drug store with the missus and this guy comes up to me and asks me something that just made me boiling mad.

Interviewer: Asked what?

Champ: He asked "would I like to suck on a fisherman's friend."

Interviewer: So what happened then?

Champ: I LOST IT!!!!!! I nailed him with an uppercut and a couple to the ribs, then a half-dozen or so haymakers just for good measure, then said "how's that for sucking on a fisherman's friend". And that's why they call me "the champ".
