Poll question: Turkey bacon or regular bacon? (My first poll!)

A few years ago, my wife turned me on to the wonders of turkey bacon. So, what's your preference, if you eat such things?

(On a side note, I feel I should mention that I typed "backon" nearly every time I tried to type "bacon", including that last one.)

1. Ground turkey instead of hamburger? Sure.

Turkey bacon instead of pig bacon? No friggin way. Bacon is too delicious to mess with. I take it in extreme moderation.

5. Louis Rich turkey bacon not dry at all!

I've tried lots of brands and yeah, most are super dry. Not Louis Rich. If you want something healthy and tasty, thats your best bet.

I don't eat pork, but i can't say i have ever had turkey bacon. I have not eaten bacon in 8 years!!

7. Turkey bacon is so much less greasy!

Takes awhile to adjust your taste buds from the expectation of beef bacon, but it's good stuff!

10. Real bacon for me; turkey bacon tastes like...the person

who invented it had a vague clue of what pork bacon tastes like and then dumped in a bunch of chemicals and had a food designer make it look like it might actually be something that exists in nature. Few things taste better when it's bacon you really want.

I only eat it a few times a year, but nothing beats it.

Yes, I know it's not good for you. Life is short anyway, and I want real bacon. I want to sin with good stuff and not have some imitation sin.
