I've been very discouraged because the job market for law students is LOUSY right now (unless you're on Law Review, but even some of those people have had trouble finding jobs). I don't need to make a lot of money, but I'd like to make a little something while helping others. I'll be working in the PFA (protection from abuse) section and will actually be able to represent clients in court once I'm certified!

EDIT: The job market for EVERYONE is lousy right now, not just for law students (unless you're a Bush crony). We need a Democratic president DESPERATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10. It's a law clerk position

I just finished my second year of law school. They tell me in this position (once I'm certified) I will actually get to represent clients in court and go up against opposing counsel. Should be fantastic experience.
