and that was the caliber of storm that just passed directly above our neighborhood. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE lightning like I have never seen in my life, dime sized hail, and a gale force wind taboot. What makes this even more incredible is that this is the second night in a row with a deep upper level rotation storm passing through, fairly uncommon for Upstate New York...

I was more fascinated than anything else. I've always enjoyed watching National Geographic episodes on severe weather. There is a some sort of primal naturalistic fascination I have with weather phenomenon to the point where I could see myself as one of those individuals on the Geographic episodes chasing F4 tornadoes through Kansas.
