What Republican male/female, living or dead, elected office or mouthpiece (ala Anne Coulter) do you most "love to hate"? Maybe we could start an annual award.

Not even of the "love to hate" variety. That, I reserve for non-serious things like arts and sports. Examples: Beckam, Alain Prost, Eminem, Jack Chick, boy bands...

I HATE that I have to hate Coulter, Limbaugh, Bush, etc. It sucks that these people have to exist and make life hell for the poor and others who are struggling to get by. Believe me, I'm not licking my lips in anxious desire to get a hard on hating any of these people. It's just that they must be stopped, seriously, and the American people are brainwashed, so WE'RE the ones who have to stop them.

I HATE that I have to spend energy and time hating such a large group of people, but fuck....these people are EVIL.

8. I agree

I hate having to hate people. I find it exhausting and very bad for my health long-term. But I simply cannot be neutral about such evil (and I use that term much more carefully than the Boy King does) people. They simply must be stopped, by any means necessary within the law (if that means anything anymore after they get done with the Constitution).

As for pop culture individuals, if I never hear anything about Britney Spears or Jennifer Lopez again it will be too soon.

He is always at the San Diego State Aztec games with his two pooches. His son Chris plays center for them. I like Bill, he overcame a case of real bad stuttering to become a halfway decent announcer. He's also a Helix High boy...

hate is entirely too personal an emotion for me to feel it toweards anyone I don't know closely. Hate is also a waste of energy, horribly bad ju-ju, and something to be avoided at all costs.

11. Andrew Sullivan.

He's spot on as far as gay issues are concerned. But he's infuriating on Iraq and his otherwise admiration for Bush. I think he would be in the running for the first annual "love to hate" award.

I love to hate the Bush apologists who hide behind their celebrity and make money off the misery of others. The biggest one is Toby Keith. I absolutely despise him. I'm a dj on a country station; and whenever one of his songs comes up on my play list, I delete it. Needless to say, you'll never hear a Toby Keith song during my show. Kiss my ass, Toby. Long live the Dixie Chicks!!!
