I just talked to a nice lawyer today
The lady I'm buying the condo from is in Chapter 13 bankruptcy. There shouldn't be any problems where I'm concerned I just called to find out.

The guy had genuine concern for his client and was friendly toward me. Talked about how he was worried the client's daughter is taking advantage of her. I didn't get a gruff response from him. He was really nice.

I'll have to remember him (hope I never need to).

4. You know, this mortgage thing has really been fairly easy.
Aside from signing my name a bunch, and doing some collection of documents, it's been pretty painless.

5. Rule of thumb, NEVER hire a NICE lawyer for YOUR team, in the case of
getting money or a settlement from someone.

Hire the meanest, nastiest son of a bitch you can find.

A nice lawyer for plain old family money stuff is fine, lol.
