What happens to records when you boil them?
for some reason I've been curious of this, and I'm considering going and buying some crappy record I don't care about just to try this.

1. They Warp
Records were made from low-temperature vinyl, and heat made them warp.

2. when I was a kid
we used to put them in the oven (on low I suspect) and shape them like bowls or planters. I really don't remember much else - its been 40 years at least.

4. same thing that happens
when you leave them on your dashboard in Phoenix, AZ in summertime. They warp into something resembling a taco-bowl.

Go to any goodwill store and they should have a 25 cent record for you to try it with.

5. You get an Eagles album
Or, if it's very crappy, thin vinyl, a U2 album
