We're too broke to buy Bill's book, but
we decided to spend some house cleaning cash my SO earned anyway. (We are both unemployed.) Just now she opened a card from a friend and lo and behold, a gift card from Barnes & Noble for 50 bucks. WooHoo and off to the bookstore!

1. Isn't it great when nice things like that happen when you least expect it?
Plus, I'm sure Barnes and Noble has the book on sale (it was 25% off at Waldenbooks when I got my copy yesterday!)

I used a $25 gift card. The book is 30% off at B&N - the total was $25.72. Cost me 72 cents!
